De Warhol à Corno
Dans son livre Cornographie, Corno raconte ses débuts à la Morgan Gallery de Boston : "Inutile de dire que mon premier vernissage est d’une importance Capitale avec un grand C. Je suis la nouvelle Warhol, rien de moins !" *. Ambitieuse, elle clame ses influences, affirme ses aspirations.
Dans son œuvre, Corno s’approprie les outils du Pop Art et développe sa propre technique. Sa série "Marilyn" réinterprète avec brio l’égérie de l’œuvre d’Andy Warhol.
Après de nombreux clins d’œil au mouvement, Corno rend hommage au fondateur du Pop Art avec ce portrait du génial Andy Warhol.

In her book Cornographie, Corno writes about her beginnings at the Morgan Gallery in Boston: ”My first vernissage was without a doubt a very Big deal, with a capital B. I’m the new Warhol, nothing less!” *. Full of ambition, the artist proclaims her aspirations and affirms her artistic influence.
In her works, Corno borrows from Pop Art and develops her own techniques. Her Marilyn Monroe series brilliantly recapture Andy Warhol's most famous muse.
After many references to this movement, Corno pays homage to the founder of Pop Art with this portrait of the great Warhol.
