PORTRAIT OF ANDY WARHOL BY CORNO

In her autobiography, Corno tells about her beginnings at the Morgan Gallery in Boston. "I am the new Warhol," she wrote without false modesty expressing her dreams and visions. After years of success in the world of contemporary art, she proudly pays tribute to the icon of pop art who inspired her so much and whose memory is still with her today. In her portrait of Andy Warhol, Corno exalts the features of the artist and shows the depth of his soul. He was a sensitive and fragile individual who was devoured by an almost supernatural creative energy that she reveals in this canvas.
