PAINT THE SEASON SUNNY - "FACE WITH YELLOW SUNGLASSES"

The dazzling colour of this diptych is filled with Summer sunshine. The skin and sunglasses of the figure reflect the bright, almost overwhelming, light while the movement of the hair and the blue background remind us of the trade winds caressing the sky and skin. Taking her energy from the forces of nature, Corno gives this work a dramatic impact.

From the original acrylic on canvas, Corno created a crystal print in a strictly limited edition of 10 copies. Smaller than the original canvas, the colours are exalted by the reflection of light on the plexiglas. This work is still available on cornostudio.com or at Gallery AKA, in Montreal.
