Andy Warhol, a timeless inspiration

Selon Corno l’inspiration peut venir de toutes parts, à chaque instant de la journée. Elle peut venir d’un bon repas entre amis, d’une musique qu’on aime, une photo qui nous touche, un bon film ou une nouvelle affiche publicitaire. L’inspiration vient aussi des voyages et de la découverte de différentes cultures. Corno est aussi inspirée par les grands artistes, les maîtres de notre époque comme Andy Warhol, l’inventeur du Pop Art. Récemment, elle  créa un immense portrait de lui (6 pieds X 5 pieds ) avec ses lunettes et ses cheveux blancs.

Inspiration comes from everywhere; and in the words of Corno, “it comes from all sources of art I'm confronted to every day: food, music, photography, cinema, billboards. It also comes from traveling and discovering different cultures.”

Corno is undoubtedly also inspired by some of the world`s greatest artists, who are considered masters of their time. One of her greatest inspirations and possibly the most visually prominent, is Andy Warhol – a remarkable and provocative leader in the movement of what is known today as Pop Art. And just recently, she created a genius portrait of Warhol, looking the way we remember him with his classic glasses and white hair.
